I am searching through the WordPress site and find a blog, who thinks for “19 ideas for hobbies to keep you busy during the COVID-19 quarantine” that I feel interesting (source: https://wordpress.com/read/blogs/154086859/posts/1264). As many people, I feel like my life is not normal, and changed as an alien. I did not think I must to study at home, especially for limiting condition. My first Spring Break is over, I could not carry out my plan, and enjoy its true meaning. In other words, a pandemic is a disaster, but also an opportunity to learn to be positive. My husband and I were spending time together. We at home more, and we have more time for family. Moreover, we caught up on all the movies we said we were going to watch, and we told about their story when we were young. We clean my room, and start an indoor garden for planting papaya, and some vegetables. Next, I and my sister in-law were cooking together, one day we cook ours favorite Vietnamese dishes for my husband’s family. If we helped time that we made a sweet jelley with coconut, condensed milk and coffee, even we made Vietnamese mochi sweet, and sweet three color like Filipino halo halo dessert. After that, we drink tea in the garden and talked a lot of thing, we also call ours loved ones who stay another country that make sure them healthy. Furthermore, I have a new job for make my mother in-law nails, and cut hair for my nephew, so I do not know that perfect, but I just become a master photographer for take some picture for the thing I did. The end the Spring break I learned to study an app Zoom, Drive and Google Doc. I get a lot information form my instructor to helped us how to do that, and I wanted to try for this hardship. Finally, I found the site of Melina Renee MAKE BOLD that made me interesting for 19 ideas thing like ours did in last week. In brief, we cannot travel as massively as before, but fine, let’s go back to take care of our house, and cook delicious meals such as “Deep living, slowing down”.

I know it’s a difficult time for everybody, but I agree with you because my family also enjoys more our conversation. I hope everything will go back to normal.

Hi Diep- It sounds like the blog you read has some good ideas for how to pass the time when we are all on quarantine. It’s nice that you get to spend some quality time with your husband and family. I’m all alone, and sometimes it gets lonely, so you are lucky that you get to be around other people. This will all go back to normal hopefully in a few months.

Well, yours sounds like me, during this self-isolation, I have more time with my son than normally be, he seems happy when having me around to take care of, and I’m glad about it too.
